Hello, my name is Joaney Prinsloo, the founder and creator of TRIOS. My passion for building this information platform began in 2011, when I started working in the funeral industry — a journey that shaped my heart, my understanding of grief, and ultimately, my purpose.
I spent eight years supporting families on the hardest days of their lives. I began in the front office, welcoming grieving families, helping them arrange funerals, and preparing service brochures. Later, I moved into the funeral policy department, where I witnessed another side of loss — the administrative stress families face while they are still in shock and mourning.
Alongside this work, I volunteered with a community-based trauma support organisation for seven years...
